This book changed the way I think and feel about my work, my life, and everyone I meet. That might be my standard for perfection. I see the sister's hustle in the security guard, Nebart, Lubasi, Joffrey, even the chief and the head man. I see Clentine in the face of the families at our borders.
It also had that same quality that I liked in Apricots book of really hearing, from the "local" perspective how off my well intentioned efforts are received. It brings me back to Dr. Sanders quote, she regarding how does she endure the do gooders coming from the suburbs for an "inner city ministry experience." She said, "she supresses her contempt."

Really, was it a perfect 10. What could have been done better? Maybe it didn't need the chapter about her boyfriend and moving to California???So what, a 9 for content?
